What components does a data logger consist of?

DATALOGGER

A measuring device that allows relevant measured values to be permanently recorded and evaluated.

THESENSORS

Available in different diameters and lengths, sensors record parameters such as temperature, pressure, and relative humidity.

POWERSUPPLY

All data loggers require a reliable power supply. LEBI 11 and LEBI 12 are powered by user replaceable batteries.

DATATRANSFER

Transfer data through a specific interface connected via USB. Reports are then available on Microsoft Excel, PDF, or an internal format.

ACCOMPANYINGSOFTWARE

Allows the data logger to be configured and analysed - capable of carrying out important calculations.

ACCOMPANYINGACCESSORIES

Depending on the application, data loggers will often be used alongside brackets, protective housings, and mounting elements.

Ongoing Support

What about the calibration and adjustment of my data loggers?

The calibration and potential adjustment of data loggers is an essential part of ensuring these devices are generating accurate and reliable results. If your data loggers are calibrated, their results will be compared to known reference values, with any inaccuracies detected and corrected. If your data loggers are adjusted, they will be fine-tuned to ensure they operate in accordance with their specifications. This will only be required if a data logger drifts and starts to generate incorrect measurements. Here at Klipspringer, we recommend that your data loggers are calibrated every 12 months. We can take care of this at our in-house UKAS Calibration Laboratory.

Will I receive any training in relation to my LEBI 11 or LEBI 12 data loggers?

Here at Klipspringer, we have established a centre of excellence surrounding the LEBI 11 and LEBI 12 data loggers. Our team of experts will be on hand to support you with every stage of the process and will be able to help you with your on-site training. This can take place over video call or even during a site visit. Depending on the requirements of your site, there is also the option of travelling to Germany for an intensive training session.
