Tuesday 20th October, 13:00 - 14:00 BST

Join us for Part Two of our Allergen Management Series, hosted in partnership with Campden BRI.

In Part One, Closing the Gap, we looked at why allergen incidents remain a persistent problem despite significant industry investment, and where the gaps in allergen management most often lie. This session picks up where we left off, focusing on one of the most critical of those gaps: cleaning.

Unlike microbial risks, allergens can’t be killed, only removed, and an allergen clean is much more than a longer version of a standard clean. Yet many sites are being asked to manage more allergen changeovers, in shorter hygiene windows, with fewer experienced hygiene people to call on. Procedures that look robust on paper can quickly come under strain.

Our speakers bring together lab, audit and factory-floor perspectives: Wendy Duncan and Marie-Anne Clarke of Campden BRI, John Hessey of Hygiene Improvement Solutions, and Alex Carlyon of Klipspringer. Together, they’ll explore what an effective allergen clean involves, why so many fall short, and how to get it right using the time and resources you actually have.

Whether you work in hygiene, technical or production, you’ll leave with practical points to take back to site. The session closes with a live Q&A, giving you the chance to put the real-world challenges you face to our expert panel.

Key Webinar Areas

1. Making Allergen Cleaning Theory Work (Campden BRI)

This session focuses on the practical application of allergen cleaning: how to plan, carry out and prove a clean that works on your site, and where cleans commonly go wrong.

2. Why Allergen Cleans Fail on Site(John Hessey)

Drawing on a career spanning hygiene management, contract cleaning and auditing, John looks at why allergen cleans fail on site and what it takes to get them right.

3. Allergen Cleaning in a Shrinking Hygiene Window (Alex Carlyon)

Hygiene windows are getting shorter, and experienced hygiene people are harder to find. Discover how sites can work within those pressures, rather than against them.

4. Live Q&A with theexpert panel

Whether your challenge is planning, carrying out or proving a clean, this is your chance to put it to our expert panel and take practical answers back to site.
