How to use your Klipspringer Gas Analyser

Klipspringer’s Gas Analyser provides a quick and reliable way to record levels of Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide and Nitrogen.

This makes it the ideal instrument for taking gas measurements across a wide range of applications, with examples including the evaluation of modified atmosphere packaging and the assessment of a product’s potential shelf life.

As a quality control device, Gas Analysers play an essential role in the food production industry. With this in mind, we have created a video tutorial, along with a list of written instructions for you to follow. Gas Analyser – A Guide to Calibration

Your Gas Analyser needs to be calibrated on an annual basis. This can be done at Klipspringer’s in-house, UKAS accredited laboratory, with calibrations typically taking 2-3 working days.

To assess the accuracy of the unit in between these calibrations, you can use the Ambient Calibration FunctionΒ to check the accuracy of the unit against a known air sample. For example, O2 is typically 20.9%.

You can also use the instrument’s in-built Calibration Interface to check the accuracy of the unit against a certified and known gas mixture.

This can be achieved by using 1/8” tubing from the gas regulator to connect a gas cylinder to the ‘Sample In’ fitting on the Calibration Interface.
