Most commonly used for ingredient preparation, Interstacking Bins are favoured across the food production industry for their durability, longevity, and shatter-resistance. With the introduction of lids and dollies, they are also easy to stack and transport.

However, a growing number of sites have asked that their Interstacking Bins also offer a sieving function – hoping to make the process of draining away liquids quicker, safer, and easier. Sieves also prove invaluable when it comes to de-clumping powdered ingredients and checking for foreign bodies e.g. stones in a seed mix.

With this in mind, Klipspringer has launched a new range of Removable Sieves. These sieves can be placed inside customised versions of our Interstacking Bins. In addition to this, you now have the option of labelling your bins with bespoke messaging.

Interstacking Bins with Removable Sieves

Klipspringer’s range of Removable Sieves resolve common industry pain points:

First, the sieves have been welded onto a sturdy ring. Because of this, they are tensioned correctly and won’t pop out when exposed to reasonable force.

Second, the sieves are removable instead of being moulded directly to the bins. Eliminating the moulding swarf where the sieve meets the plastic has reduced the risk of foreign body contamination.

Finally, the sieves being removable allows us to offer sieve combinations for Interstacking Bins of every size.

Measured in the number of gaps per inch (as is the industry standard), the sieves within this range are available in the following sizes:

  • Mesh #18 = 1.01mm
  • Mesh #10 = 1.98mm
  • Mesh #04 = 5.15mm
  • Mesh #02 = 11.10mm

The sieves can then be placed inside customised versions of our Interstacking Bins, available in sizes: 15ltr, 28ltr, 40ltr, and 60ltr.
